Sorina Reiber is a German filmmaker and editor based in London.
With a background in visual communication and photography, she brings a strong visual sensibility to intimate, character-led documentary and moving-image work. Her practice often explores identity, trauma, transformation and the resilience of everyday life, with an eye for the unexpected and the quietly absurd.
Sorina is an alumna of the Directing Documentary MA at the National Film and Television School. She works across documentary, artists’ film, music video and cultural projects, both as a director and editor.
As a mother of two, Sorina has become increasingly interested in stories of care, memory, reinvention and the quiet magic of everyday life.
